Academic Activities & Training

The department actively participates in the teaching of MBBS, postgraduate residents and allied health students, integrating bedside teaching with seminars and case-based discussions.

• Clinical postings for MBBS and residents in CCU, wards and OPD.
• Weekly academic schedule including journal clubs, case presentations and mortality meets.
• Workshops and CMEs on ECG interpretation, heart failure management and acute coronary syndromes.

Research & Publications

Faculty members of the department are engaged in clinical and translational research in areas such as acute coronary syndromes, heart failure and preventive cardiology.

• Ongoing projects on risk factors and outcomes in acute coronary syndromes.
• Collaborative studies on heart failure management and quality of life.
• Participation in national registries and multicentre studies (where applicable).
